What is the courtyard and facade program?

The courtyard and facade program has been successfully implemented in Dortmund since 1980. It involves upgrading facades that characterize the cityscape and adapting property areas to the needs of residents.

What is funded?

• Funding is provided in the form of a grant (the amount of the grant is 50%)

• It must be a new measure that has not yet been started

• Among other things, the following are eligible for funding
  

  • the color redesign of the exterior facades of buildings, structures and walls worthy of preservation

  • the renewal and/or restoration of facades of outstanding urban significance

  • the removal of graffiti damage on buildings, including color redesign and permanent protective coating

  • the unsealing of paved areas

  • the greening of roofs

Who can apply for funding?

Property owners who own a property in the "Socially Integrative City Westerfilde & Bodelschwingh" program area are eligible for funding.

How do I apply for funding?

The neighborhood management is your first point of contact in the funding process. During an initial consultation, you will receive application documents and receive support during the funding process.
