Cherry Flower Power on "Am Feldbrand"

Green on the outside - colorful on the inside!

This is the well-known motto for Westerfilde & Bodelschwingh. And the inside is always particularly colorful in spring, when the numerous cherry trees in the street Am Feldbrand unfold their full splendor within a few days and create an impressive picture with countless pink blossoms.

Bumblebees and bees have already awoken from their winter hibernation and add to the beautiful backdrop with their busy buzzing.

Many passers-by linger to take in this feast for the eyes.

Some even take out their cell phones to capture this fleeting beauty, which unfortunately only lasts for a maximum of two weeks depending on the weather.

Soon there will be more flowers along the street. LEG Wohnen is planning to implement a comprehensive neighborhood development in its neighboring residential district. Not only will the buildings dating back to the 1950s be completely modernized and adapted to current living standards, but the spacious open spaces will also be further landscaped and made more usable for residents.
