The restaurant 'Im schönen Wiesengrund' is a genuine traditional pub. This is where the people of Westerfilde meet for puzzles, savings clubs or skat rounds. This lively meeting place is located on the edge of the Dortmund-Westerfilde district and borders directly on the Mastbruch nature reserve. Just like the interior, the beautiful beer garden invites you to linger.

Landlord Marijan Ribicic has been working here for 16 years. He is supported by many hard-working people in the kitchen, at the bar and in service.

Our goals:

"It is very important to me and my team that our guests feel comfortable at 'Im Schönen Wiesengrund', that they can eat and drink well and meet lots of nice people.

I offer my guests down-to-earth German-Croatian dishes and grilled specialties as well as light dishes, delicious salads, fish and sophisticated desserts such as pancakes.

In short: our restaurant 'Im schönen Wiesengrund' has a varied menu.

With its hall, it is particularly suitable for family celebrations of all kinds: for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and also funerals, we always offer an appropriate setting and adapt to the wishes of our guests.

Together with the Friends of Wiesengrund-Westerfilde, we organize our own events in the restaurant and beer garden: From exhibitions and games evenings to live concerts.

Our guest rooms and hall are available to companies, clubs and associations for meetings, workshops, assemblies or events.
