This is us

The Fabido daycare center Wattenscheidskamp is located in Do-Bodelschwingh. We care for 47 children in 2 groups from the age of 2-6 until they start school. The management team of our day care center consists of Bianca Laabs and Sandra Schellschmidt. There are 3 professionals, 2 part-time assistants and an additional professional, 1 daily helper, 1 apprentice in the year of recognition, 1 AGH worker.

Our weekly care time is 35 hours, our opening hours are from 7:30-14:30.

Our goals

We are a diverse team with different focuses,

Languages, Gardenong (Nature&Environment), Movement, Mathematical Education, Fair Kita, Music, Inclusion.

We work with an open concept of functional rooms -> creative, - building and construction, - movement room, - role play area, - lunch area.

The children are encouraged to explore and discover their environment independently.

Play is in the main focus for us. We create an atmosphere in which children can learn with joy and comfort. In partnership, we share our knowledge and create a safe, age-appropriate environment so that the child can be engaged and independently gain new knowledge about themselves and the world.
